What's the difference between offline and online?

Offline runs on your device with Apple's speech recognition and translation: free and private, one language at a time. Online recognizes both languages at once, tells the speakers apart, and refines translations with context; it needs sign-in and uses online time.

How do I prepare offline languages?

Choose your two languages, switch to Offline and tap Download. Apple downloads the speech and translation resources once; after that it works without internet.

How is online time counted?

By the time Rapport listens with online recognition. Signed-in accounts get 30 minutes a month; Pro includes 15 hours, Pro+ 40 hours, and Unlimited is fair use.

How does Phone mode work?

Put your phone next to a call on speaker (the call itself on another phone or computer). Your words are translated and read aloud to the other person; the microphone is muted while reading so the read-aloud isn't recognized again.

Names keep getting translated wrong.

Add them in Settings › Glossary with the translation you want. Refinement uses your glossary.

I bought a membership on iPhone. Does it work on my Mac?

Yes. Memberships belong to your Rapport account: sign in with the same Apple Account on both.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings › your name › Subscriptions on iPhone, or the App Store › your account on Mac, and cancel Rapport.
